Over thirty years ago, a dream was born in the heart of Dr. Monée N. Merriweather. It happened one night while she was watching Johnny Carson on the "Tonight Show" interviewing Dr. Joyce Brothers. Something clicked. Dr. Monée remembers that night well. "I really liked what Dr. Brothers was saying. I felt her sincerity. I truly felt she had the desire to make a difference in the lives of others. More powerfully, I saw that she was reaching millions of people through the medium of television." And now, Dr. Monée is on the brink of making a difference in the lives of millions of people. Her formal education and life experiences have uniquely prepared her for the creation and professional efforts with, but the key and the spark behind her success is her wonderful ability to truly connect with people.

Dr. Monée was born in Flint, Michigan, initially raised in Davison, and then at the age of fifteen, she moved to Fenton with her parents, three brothers and sister.
Dr. Monée graduated with honors from Fenton High School and then, at the age of twenty-one, she moved to Los Angeles, California where she began her formal education.
